In the second part, we will discuss how to hang the dartboard, what should be the height from the floor to the bullseye, and the throwing line (where the player stands to through the dart).
1.1 Planning the location
Find a room that is open and in which there is no furniture or other obstacles. The area of the room must be around 5 feet broad and 11 feet long. Make sure that there are no obstacles between the player and the dartboard. So you can quickly grab the darts after each toss, try to keep the space uncluttered.
Remember that you will also require room for players and spectators. Make room immediately next to the board for a scoreboard so that players can clearly see it.
1.2 Preparing the floor
You may not be able to design unique flooring for your darts depending on your budget. Remember that certain materials may quickly cause damage to your darts or fade over time from regular play. You can use a dart mat to protect your floors, keep darts from dulling, and mark the right distance from the throw line.
The floors which are made of tile, stone, or concrete, can damage the dart’s tip or shatter them completely.
Note: The surface of the floor should be plain.

The dartboard has different mounting points, for example, expensive dartboards have mounting points in the center, and the little bit cheap ones have them on the top.
2.2 Mounting and Stabilizing the Dartboard
After measuring the height, drill the holes in a wall to screw the back plate of the dartboard most probably there 4 screw holes in a back plate. Before screwing make sure that the bracket’s U-shape opening should be on the top side so you can easily slide the dartboard in it.
As you insert the dartboard into the wall bracket, align it by keeping the 20-scoring area to the top.
2.3 Draw the through line
Make the throw line (also called the oche, toe-line). It should be 3 feet wide and 7 feet 9.25 inches away from the dartboard. To make the through-line you can use a top, a piece of wood or metal, or even a white sticker.
